If you follow the money trail back, you&#039;ll find the same fat cats reaping the profits from &quot;big pharma&quot;, &quot;big agra&quot; and the food industry (all or which are fuelled by the petrochemical industry of course), the same fat cats which sit on the board for the FDA in the US!

Keeping people ill and depressed also has the effect of making us docile, just well enough to go and work the 9-5 and collect lots of tax for the government, before spending the rest on crap we don&#039;t need.

This is nothing new of course, since the dawn of agriculture the nobility have feasted on meat, while the serfs have been fed a diet of grains to keep them in place...</description>

I&#039;ve not written a post about plyometrics specifically, but the same theory would apply:

S.A.I.D principle - The body adapts very specifically to whatever you do, so chances are you will mostly just get better at the plyometric drills. If you were playing basket ball for example, I feel it would be more useful to spend more time practising slam dunks say, than repeatedly dropping off a box (more fun too!)

Injury Risk - Plyometrics carry extremely high injury risk. The original Russian texts that actually advocate them, only do so for extremely high level, well conditioned athletes. There are many S&amp;C coaches out there dishing them out to everyone that walks through their doors, regardless of goals and experience, mainly because the exercises seem interesting/new/unusual - This is just going to end in disaster!</description>

		<description>I haven&#039;t got a problem with lactose, so I &#039;do&#039; dairy, but I try to limit it. I don&#039;t drink milk; I don&#039;t particularly enjoy it or get any satisfaction from it, and cream is a lot nicer in coffee. I go for cream, and fermented, full-fat, predominantly raw when I can find it, and I love artisan cheeses. Brie de Meaux, which is always unpasteurised, is quite easily found these days (saw it at M&amp;S a couple of days before, along with some Taleggio D.O.P) but my favourite place for cheese is Neal&#039;s Yard Dairy. Get into Covent Garden and just follow your nose ;-) if you can&#039;t smell the Stinky Bishop, it&#039;s near Holland &amp; Barrett just off Neal&#039;s Street! :-) Laverstoke Park Farm (the organic buffalo people) also have an unpasteurized buffalo mozarella you can get from Waitrose or online. I&#039;ve never seen raw kefir; in fact, the only place I saw kefir was at Whole Foods Soho, and that was the first time I saw it sold outside of Russia! Lots of people in the UK haven&#039;t tried Ryazhenka, which is fermented baked milk, but I can find it in most Eastern European shops. There&#039;s one near Waterloo :-D</description>

A huge, complicated, beautiful - one could say - structure, but it only needs a single blow to collapse into total chaos. We live on a sort of brink, which some people don&#039;t realise, some do, and others worry too much about (e.g. the people who think armageddon will come in 2012). And if something happens that all these crutches we&#039;ve made for ourselves go away, it will indeed be the survival of the fittest.
